Welcome to Peppermint Grove

Peppermint Grove is one of the State’s most beautiful suburbsPeppermint Grove is one of the State’s most beautiful suburbs, known for its large character homes set in tranquil tree-lined streets and lush, verdant parks located by the calm waters and serene shores of the Swan River.

The area embraces the river and foreshore parks for recreation, and is serviced by a major shopping complex and extensive range of retail and trade services.

The Shire has a population of about 1600, with a large proportion of residents who have long established links with the Shire going back over many generations.


The Library

The library service is jointly funded by the Town of Cottesloe, Shire of Peppermint Grove and the Town of Mosman Park, in partnership with the State Library of Western Australia.

In addition the Library is a member of the Western Suburbs Library Network which shares the catalogue and membership database with other libraries in the region, view library info.

Traffic Management

Council & Committee Meeting Changes

In accordance with Section 5.25 of the Local Government Act 1995, notice is given that Agenda Forums will be held in lieu of the current two standing Committee Meetings – Finance and Works Committee and Health, Building and Town Planning Committee.
