Tennis Court Lighting

Development Approval and a Buildng Permit is required to erect tennis court lighting or pole-mounted floodlights.

The Shire does not have a local planning policy specific to lighting controls and applies the Australian Standard AS2560 for Outdoor Tennis Court Lighting. A report from a suitably qualified lighting technician evidencing compliance with the Australian Standard will need to accompany a Development Application.

The plans submitted as part of a Building Permit application will need to be structurally certified.
