State Planning Policies
State planning policies are directed primarily towards broad general planning and facilitating the
coordination of planning throughout the State by local governments. They may make provision for any matter which may be the subject of a local planning scheme.
Clause 26 of the Local Planning Scheme modifies State Planning Policy 7.3 the Residential Design Codes of Western Australia (R-Codes) and clause 32 introduces additional site and development requirements that prevail in the event of an inconsistency with the R-Codes.
